Liberty Utilities is the electrical company that services the California side of the Lake Tahoe Basin. They are a subsidiary of PG&E.

South Tahoe Public Utility District is the PUD for all of South Lake Tahoe. Any water or sewer questions should be directed to them.

On the South Shore of Lake Tahoe, Spectrum Internet is the best internet service to obtain. With high-speed internet, you'll rarely have a problem.

Lake Tahoe Unified School is the school district in South Lake Tahoe. They service the City of South Lake Tahoe through El Dorado County (east slope). K-12.

Southwest Gas is your go-to gas company for all California Homes in the Lake Tahoe basin. It is rare that homes in CA will be on propane but you can call to make sure!

Tahoe City Public Utility District is the PUD within both Placer and El Dorado Counties, extending from Emerald Bay to Dollar Hill, and along the Truckee River to the Nevada County line.. There is a requirement for a sewer pressure test with the sale of a home. Any water or sewer questions should be directed to them.

Certain areas of Lake Tahoe have certain services and in rare instances, AT&T is the go-to internet provider for Lake Tahoe.

Tahoe Truckee Unified School District reaches the west shore of Lake Tahoe to the north shore and into Truckee. K-12

All major roadways are monitored by CalTrans and you can find snow removal or road repair work on their website.

North Tahoe Public Utility District is the PUD from the Nevada state line in Crystal Bay to Dollar Hill. Including the communities of Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Brockway Vista, Carnelian Bay, Cedar Flat and Agate Bay.. There is a requirement for a sewer pressure test with the sale of a home. On the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, internet can be sparce and Suddenlink Internet is the choice for this. There are new internet options changing daily so be sure to double check.
