The Dollar Point Association (DPA) is a non-profit organization of property owners in the Dollar Point development of Tahoe City, CA. Located on the beautiful north shore of Lake Tahoe, the DPA membership is voluntary for Dollar Point property owners. We manage and maintain private recreational facilities, share community news, and more.

The organization was formed over forty years ago as the area was being developed. DPA is not a CID (common interest development). Initially, DPA was a private recreation club with a purpose of organizing activities associated with the swimming pool and tennis courts.

Today, DPA is a private, non-profit Recreation Association with the following key functions and responsibilities:

• Provide, maintain and manage high level recreational facilities including: swimming pool, tennis courts, beach, pier, boat mooring, and picnic areas.

• Maintain attractive recreation areas that enhance the neighborhood’s appearance.

• Membership communication of events, activities and community matters of interest.

• Fulfill a fiduciary responsibility by having membership elected officers and directors who oversee the organization’s bylaws, rules and financial resources.

• Generally protect the value, safety and quality of living in Dollar Point.

During the warm summers, Dollar Point residents can enjoy:

• Privately-owned HOA beach - buoy field and pier

• Paddleboard and kayak storage facilities

• Private outdoor pool

• Tennis courts

• Open park with BBQ grills

The closest ski resorts to Dollar Point are Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Meadows. It is also close to Northstar Resort.
