Glenbrook is in Douglas County on the South/East shore of Lake Tahoe. It is a private community with its own private golf course – Glenbrook Club was established as the first golf course in Nevada in 1926. A 9-hole course boasts beautiful views and a well-groomed course. Glenbrook is considered a rural lakeshore community with nearly 600-acres of undisturbed open space. Only 150 of the 750 total acres have been developed, making this a small and tightknit community for Nevada residents.
